Presentation

Main Projects in Chile

Candelaria Norte - Mining tunnels 140 km completed (2005–2022), plus ~40 km more with current contract; €65M extension in 2019

El Teniente - Underground expansion Working since 1992, new 13.4 km tunnel network and 1,503 m vertical shafts under a recent €283M contract

Chuquicamata - Ventilation & shafts Civil works on a 673 m vent shaft; vertical shaft ~650 m deep; tons of tunnel advance

Alto Maipo hydropower - Tunneling & shafts 74 km of tunnels, shafts, and underground powerhouses

Wind farms (Horizonte & Lomas de Taltal) - Renewable projects 140+ foundations (816 MW) and 57 foundations (342 MW), plus 155 km of access roads to support energy transition

Main Capabilities

  • Long-term client partnerships with Codelco, Lundin Mining, Engie, and others, spanning decades in Chile
  • High-performance tunneling rates: up to 1,800 m/month in Candelaria and 900 m/month in El Teniente, even amid COVID‑19 constraints
  • Safety-first culture: tele‑commanded machinery reduces personnel exposure underground; zero lost-time accidents in major zones
  • Digital strategies: Focused tech adoption (“no digital for digital’s sake”) via innovation managers to enhance productivity and safety
