Summary
Coeur Mining, Inc. is a US-based, well-diversified and growing precious metals producer with five wholly-owned operations: the Las Chispas silver-gold mine in Sonora, Mexico, the Palmarejo gold-silver complex in Chihuahua, Mexico, the Rochester silver-gold mine in Nevada, the Kensington gold mine in Alaska and the Wharf gold mine in South Dakota. In addition, the company owns the Silvertip polymetallic critical minerals exploration project in British Columbia.
Main Leadership
Mitchell J. Krebs was appointed President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Coeur Mining, Inc. in July 2011. Mr. Krebs formerly served as the Chairman of The National Mining Association and is a former Chair of the ESG Task Force. Mr. Krebs previously served on the Board of Kansas City Southern Railway Company and is a past President of The Silver Institute.

Producing Mines
- Sonora, Mexico: The recently acquired Las Chispas underground mine is one of the highest-grade, lowest-cost primary silver mines in the world. 2025E production: 4,250,000 - 5,250,000 ounces silver; 42,500 – 52,500 ounces gold
- Chihuahua, Mexico: The Palmarejo gold-silver complex has been a key producer for over two decades and continues to demonstrate compelling exploration potential. 2025E production: 5,400,000 – 6,500,000 ounces silver; 95,000 – 105,000 ounces gold
- Nevada, USA: Rochester has recently completed a major US$730 million expansion, becoming a cornerstone operation and key cash flow generator in the heart of one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world. 2025E production: 7,000,000 – 8,300,000 ounces silver; 60,000 – 75,000 ounces gold
- Alaska, USA: Kensington has recently completed a multi-year investment in exploration and mine development that has extended mine life at this underground operation to five years and positions the company for sustained free cash flow. 2025E production: 92,500 – 107,500 ounces gold
- South Dakota, USA: Wharf has generated cumulative free cash of more than US$500 million since its acquisition in 2015. Mining at Wharf commenced in 1983 and two new development targets demonstrate continued potential for further mine life extension. 2025E production: 90,000 – 100,000 ounces gold
Exploration Project
- British Columbia, Canada: The Silvertip polymetallic exploration project is one of the highest-grade silver-zinc-lead projects in the world and sits within a highly prospective land package. Coeur continues to invest in exploration to better understand the potential of this large system.
