Xcalibur Multiphysics is the world leader in airborne geophysics. We are focused on mapping natural capital, such as minerals, water and energy sources, through our innovative geophysical systems installed on our aircraft. Our clients include governments, mining, energy, and environmental companies.
While Xcalibur Multiphysics is a global company with representation on every continent, our Ontario operations are managed by our offices in Toronto and Ottawa.
Strategy
The Xcalibur Multiphysics Group's aim is to accelerate the energy transition, focusing on high interest areas of natural resources to reduce environmental impact and protect biodiversity.
To this end, it is crucial to understand the role of critical minerals within the energy transition and to invest efforts in responsible mining. Xcalibur is a key player in the new energy transition. Following the latest UN and WEF reports on climate change and energy prospects, we know that without critical minerals there is no transition. The reality is that a "just" transition is not even an option if we do not have the materials to facilitate change.
Main Leadership
Andrés Blanco Grasa was born in 1964. He is currently the CEO of Xcalibur Multiphysics Group, a leading company in airborne geophysics solutions. Before getting involved in resource exploration, his professional experience was in the consulting and telecommunications sector with A.T.Kearney, Atlante, and Indra Consulting Group.
Main Projects
The Xcalibur Multiphysics Group has more than 100 years of accumulated experience, more than 50 million line kilometers of geophysical data collected and more than 1,000 projects executed worldwide.
In Ontario we cover multiple commodities and locations from nickel in the Ring of Fire, to gold and VMS in the Abitibi Greenstone belt, Thunder Bay and Red Lake areas.
Main Services
Xcalibur Multiphysics offers a wide variety of geophysical survey systems that are suited to a variety of geological terrains. All of our data can be collected on either fixed wing or helicopter platforms and include: gravity gradient, electromagnetics, magnetics, and radiometrics, as well as combinations of these.
