Summary
AESA Infaestructura y Minería was established in 1990 and is the largest underground mining contractor in Peru. AESA has the strong economic backing of the Breca group and has successfully completed numerous underground mining projects throughout its 31-year history. AESA is Peru´s leading integrated underground mining operator, with over 1,500 collaborators and more than 850 km tunnels built. In addition, AESA has developed different projects for clients such as Volcan, Nexa Resources, Glencore, Minsur, El Brocal, Yanacocha, among others. AESA has a wide services portfolio, including: Drill and Blast, Scaling, Mucking and Transport, Rock Support with Bolt and Mesh, Production and other specialized services. AESA has maintained the highest standards in its processes with safety as the utmost priority, offering solutions to its clients in underground mining in a sustainable way, transforming its area influence, with a big focus on training and local employment.

Gianflavio is an Economics major, with an MBA in finance, with over 23 years of experience over different geographies and industries, the last 10 years of which have been in mining, spanning from mine operations (both underground and open pit) to underground mine contracting. His blend of finance, sales and strategy, mine operation and mine contracting experience, enables him to deliver solutions well aligned with AESA clients’ strategic objectives and business needs.
