Geotec´s origin dates back to 1890, when Boyles Bros Drilling, one of the pioneering companies in the exploration drilling field, was founded in North America.

In 1963, the company arrived in Peru, and since then, has participated in the exploration of the most important sites in the country. In 1970, Boyles joined together with Christensen Mining Products, a manufacturing company of drilling tools and diamond bits. In 1996, the Layne Christensen Co., the main water well drilling company in the world, joined as shareholder. In the fall of 2018, Granite acquired Layne and its subsidiaries so that Geotec now has a partnership with one of the US’s largest infrastructure contractors and construction materials producers.

Due to the above, we are placed in a leadership position, enabling us to expand the scope of the company to other Latin American countries.
