Summary


ION Energy Ltd (TSXV: ION) (OTCQB: IONGF) (FRA: 5YB) is Mongolia’s first lithium brine explorer and developer, with licences spanning a combined landmass of over 100,000 hectares.

The company’s flagship asset, the Baavhai Uul Lithium Brine Project is in the infrastructure-rich South Gobi Desert, just 24 km from the Chinese border. This licence spans +81,000 hectares, and represents the largest and first lithium brine exploration licence award in Mongolia. ION also holds the 29,000+ hectare Urgakh Naran highly prospective Lithium Brine licence in Dorngovi Province in Mongolia. ION is well-poised to be a key player in the clean energy revolution, positioned well to service the world’s increased demand for lithium.

ION Energy currently holds two lithium brine licences in Mongolia, spanning a combined landmass of over 100,000 hectares. • Ali Haji, CEO & Director

Ali Haji is CEO & Director of ION Energy Ltd, a lithium brine explorer in Mongolia. Ali serves as Director of Antler Hill Mining Ltd and Spirit Banner II Capital Corp. He has over 13 years of international experience, including asset management, risk analysis and program governance. He also serves as an Advisor to ATMA Capital Markets Ltd and Steppe Gold Ltd. Ali has a BSc from University of Western Ontario.

• Matt Wood, Chairman of the Board

Matt Wood, an Australian citizen, is a mineral resource explorer and developer with nearly three decades of global experience in mining and commodities investments. Mr. Wood has held numerous executive positions in the mining industry.Mr. Wood was formerly the joint founder and Executive Chairman of ASX All Sector 2010 IPO of the year, Hunnu Coal Limited. Hunnu Coal was sold to Banpu PCL in 2011 for A$500M and was awarded global deal of the year at Hong Kong Mines and Money in March 2012. Mr. Wood is also the Chairman of Steppe Gold Ltd and Aranjin Resources Ltd, as well as listed TSX capital pool companies Antler Hill Mining and Spirit Banner II Capital Corp.

• BataaTumur-Ochir, Director

Mr. Bataa Tumur-Ochir has over 10 years of experience in mining industry, and is an advisor to Mongolia’s Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry. He is a Mongolian national and is CEO & Director of Steppe Gold Ltd. He also serves as Director of ION Energy Ltd and Aranjin Resources Ltd. Bataa holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and graduate certificates in international business and marketing from Australia and Singapore.
